Comment (by karsten):

 Setting the Java version to 1.6 is not a problem.  Should I do that,
 regardless of the mocking framework?

 But requiring a library that is not in Debian stable is a problem, because
 it doesn't play well with the development guidelines.  It seems that
 sticking with the `Time` class is the lesser pain.
