Yes, correct.

You ''can'' install websocket-server on some prepackaged bundle. You will
still have to compile websocket-server yourself, but then you just have to
edit torrc to point to it.

I think that is unlikely. I don't have anything to do with those bundles.
Compiling websocket-server is not very hard. It's easier than compiling a
C program. Just follow the instructions at http://golang.org/doc/install.
