 After loading the tor browser update. The first page which by default is
 located at https://check.torproject.org/?lang=en-US&small=1&uptodate=1
 times out and no longer issues a status.

 This is critical because it lets users know if they are indeed anonymous.

 I have many years experience in SQA and can provide much more detail on
 request.
