 As far as I can see .13-alpha isn't released yet. If that is so, how long
 before it is released?

 The reason I ask this is because I *could* get the latest sources from git
 in the branch you suggested (I don't normally do that btw), but if
 .13-alpha is near release, then I'd rather wait.
