 I also had issues with the new Tor Button 1.5 interface.  Until they fix
 the session restore, control over history, and plugins, I suggest you use
 2.3.12-alpha-2_en-US.

 Just google "tor-browser-2.3.12-alpha-2_en-US + download" and you'll find
 lots of mirrors. For me it was the last usable version of the tor browser
 bundle.
