 identi.ca has now changed their web UI to require one trust cloudfare and
 googleapis to use the site at all. Independent pump.io clients seem to
 lack core functionality. Rather than force users to trust identi.ca,
 cloudflare, and googleapis, what other options exist? We can run our own
 pump.io client when it makes it into the debian repositories.

 In general, we should look at improving the state of federated social
 networking and pointed non-federated options at our federated choices.
