 It has been merged into 0.2.4; no need to change the version.  See above
 where I said "merged into maint-0.2.4".  I had to rebase it, because it
 was built on master.

  It's not the branch I just merged that is getting backported.  The
 "024-backport" here means "If we find out that there is a fixable bug
 here, then consider backporting the fix".
