I'm not exactly sure of how to ensure that we have a known pipe name for
all tor enabled applications... On Win32, we could have '\\.\pipe\tor-
shim' and on GNU/Linux we could have '/tmp/tor-shim' - the main problem is
of course that we can't actually ensure that we'd get those names.
I wonder how Tor handles this for the control socket? Won't Unix Domain
Sockets have similar problems?
