 Not sure about this at the moment since I have not tried it yet. One might
 just do a diff patch and see if it breaks?

 I suspect that the guard code did not change all that much, but micro-
 descriptors were introduced after 0.2.2.33 so that may be cause of
 problems.

 I'll take a look after the dust settles after WPES.
