Comment:

 I don't think this is high-priority anymore, now that we've closed #4086.

 It would probably be useful to have support for dynamically changing the
 refill parameter. But I'm not clear on how high priority that should be
 either.

 So I'm going to close this one as wontfix, and we can open more tickets
 later as we resume interest in this topic.
