Comment:

 Wrote up the profile of Neubot:
 https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/doc/OONI/CensorshipDetectionTools/NeuBot.

 Simone was very helpful in answering all the questions I had on it and he
 has taken all the necessary paranoid steps to secure the obvious parts of
 the tool.

 They will also consider having the reporting system use encryption
 although it was not originally in their threat model. The main worry is
 having a malicious ISP tamper with the test results to make their speeds
 appear better than they are.
