 month.  We came up with `YYYY-MM-NN`, which, in retrospect, could easily
 be confused as an ISO date.  Maybe we should rather use `YYYY-MM-NNN` or
 `YYYY-MM/NN`.

 I slightly favor YYYY-MM-NNN.
