 When trying to clone git over https, I get an error message "warning:
 remote HEAD refers to nonexistent ref, unable to checkout."

 Unauthenticated git works fine.

 Possible solution would be to run git update-server-info resp. run "chmod
 +x .git/ hooks/post-update". (see

 )
