 Sebastian: it looks like the line first appeared in r18012:
 http://archives.seul.org/tor/commits/Jan-2009/msg00175.html

 It spread to easy-download in r18985 when phobos added a form for
 subscribing to the majordomo list to that page.

 Does that mean it should only have been on the download page? And it
 should go away completely now that the majordomo subscribe form is gone?
