 The only reason I can think of, is that the new message in 0.2.3.x, won't
 tell the user exactly what happened. It will help him find out the problem
 on his own. So after getting that error message, a user has to understand
 what it says, and find out whether he forgot to put a
 ClientTransportPlugin line or whether his obfsproxy crashed.
 Still, it should be better than the current situation where the error
 message is simply false and confusing.

 And, when we do the refactoring in 0.2.4.x, the log messages should be
 correct and they should tell the user exactly what happened in each case.
