 obfsproxy --version does not work outside of the obfsproxy git repository:
 {{{
 $ ./obfsproxy --version
 obfsproxy git
 }}}

 and even inside a git repository, it doesn't report the actual
 version/release, it just reports the commit hash of HEAD.
