Comment:

 On further examination I had one Addon called "samfind Bookmarks Bar
 2.2.3" enabled which was conflicting with Torbutton 1.4.1. Once I disabled
 this addon it worked fine and I was able to navigate correctly with Tor
 enabled. My appologies for not noticing this addon was enabled.
