Hi folks,
Luv yer work - it's important and you've got lots of support so I wish
you all the best. Unfortunately, I couldn't recommend it to a friend, and
I'll probably have to bail out myself soon - the "time to productivity"
ratio is running in the red.
All I wanted to do was create an anonymous blog, but it's been problem
after problem - first, I wanted to set google as my home page, but each
time I logged in, I got a google home page in a different language - OK,
so I set the IP address as the home page. next, I wanted to create a
blogger account, but I get a message that there is a problem with cookies
- I guessed that this might be a problem with "Use new identity" so I try
to turn that off, but it comes back on again -- I try to enable cookies in
the browser settings, but that doesn't seem to have any effect.
This may all seem normal to you, and you've probably got ways of dealing
with this and all the other issues I'm likely to face before I get to
publishing my first post - but you're probably a programmer, and I'm just
a blogger and it would take to long for me to sift through all the
material (all very technical).
If you're happy to restrict your user base to "high tech only" that's
fine - but how about warning lable at the front door so I don't waste so
much time and look for something *I* can drive?
Looking at the options below, for example - I'll be very lucky to get
this note on it's way.
