Comment:

 Well, somebody would have to implement it; and it would be more data we'd
 need to parse and store; and unlike 2-letter country codes, country names
 would need to get localized to be actually useful for a controller.

 So I'm going to mark this as won't-implement.  Thanks for sharing the
 idea, though!  It's still better to share an idea than not.
