 Thank you for these suggestions!  I'm wrapping up a patch that implements
 the ability to hide the Dock Icon in #2163.  I plan to implement the
 ability to Start Vidalia at login in #2941.  Please follow those two
 tickets if you'd like to monitor progress on this.
