 Perhaps you mean Torbutton, rather than Tor?

 This sort of thing is actually a feature of Torbutton, rather than a bug:
 https://www.torproject.org/torbutton/en/design/index.html.en
 (If you can access things on your side, often the remote website can too.)

 But I don't know for sure whether Torbutton is intended to stash your
 bookmarks somewhere safe for (and from) you. Mike?
