 moria1 (a directory authority) has 248440 microdescs cached:

 nickm says they're supposed to get removed in
 microdesc_cache_clean/microdesc_cache_rebuild(), but it would seem they
 don't.

 moria1 is currently running Tor 0.2.3.0-alpha-dev (git-19019f26b08b5222),
 but this has clearly been a problem longer than that.
