 Thank for replying. I have FireFox 3.6.12 and I have downloaded the
 Torbutton form the website.

 As soon as I have installed it in FF, I do not get the icon and all the
 websites shows up in basis HTML.

 As I uninstalled it, everything is back to normal, except that downloading
 is still a problem.

 I can not even compose mail in google mail, it keeps loading.

 When turn to an other browser which run through my original proxy, I do
 not have this situation.

 I must say that Tor is also running through my original proxy. It was set
 in the settings.
