Comment:

 Remember that before we get too far, we need to nail down what proposal
 we're actually doing.  Maybe you should coalesce what you think is the
 latest version of the proposal as amended by the thread in an updated
 version before implementing too much stuff.

 Also, I don't think this is for 0.2.2.x-final?  0.2.2.x is supposed to be
 in feature freeze.  I'll move it to the null milestone.
