 After going to the `git_clones/tor` directory and running `git branch`, I
 saw that HEAD was detached:
 {{{
 * (HEAD detached at tor-0.4.0.2-alpha)
 }}}
 And then after running `./rbm/rbm fetch tor`, the issue was gone.

 So I'm not sure what fixed it. Maybe the repository was in some strange
 state that was fixed by `git branch`?
