Thanks, that's really helpful. Is that issue reproducible on your system
if you use an older Tor Browser, say 8.0.4, and update it? (see:
https://archive.torproject.org/tor-package-archive/torbrowser/8.0.4/ for
bundles) If so, how? Do you just need to update or do you need to have
tabs open and update? Or...?
