Comment:

 Both issues you mention are features of Tor Browser stemming from the
 requirement to leave essentially no trace on the computer revealing
 browsing activity. "Remember logins for sites" is not available as Tor
 Browser is using Firefox's permanent private browsing mode to avoid saving
 browsing data to disk. And you can't set a master password by default as
 this would lead to disk activity which might not be wanted. However, you
 can override that option by flipping the `security.nocertdb` preference to
 `false`.
