Well… One of my main target audience is the Tor core community. People
who work on Tor every single day and who need to know what the community
at large is working on. I want them to be able to follow what's going on
without having to read every single message of tor-talk, tor-dev, and
other mailing lists.

“Dumbing it down” will make it far less useful in that regards.
