Hello everyone! 

I'm a big fan of tor and the Tor project, and use TBB daily. In an effort to contribute 
in some small way I thought I'd pick an unassigned ticket and work on it. I chose 
https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/24295 since it seems like a good place
to start learning the code and onionoo dev process. I pushed my changes here: 
https://gitlab.com/743zpnpGUq27GgR/onionoo/tree/24295-pkg. I hope this is ok -- 
if not I can remove it no problem.

Let me know if I can do something different to make your lives easier (like using github 
instead of gitlab, etc...).

I also took some notes on how I learned to build the project, etc. I could propose some 
updates to CONTRIB.md if that makes sense.
