I'd be interested to see (even as a one-off analysis) the
agreement/disagreement between MaxMind's database and RIPE Stat.

While RIPE Stat wouldn't be something we can really embed into things,
and would require calling to the service via its API, I think it's
probably the "best" live data source that is publicly available for
IP<->AS resolution (it is based on a live BGP feed).
