My opinion on this, having given it some thought, is that I'm not opposed to
it being red. It's a thing that needs attention from the relay operator and
actionable things should be brought to the attention of operators.
It's probably worse that we say "not recommended" instead of something
specifically about the version.
I think the patch I would want to see changes it back to red, but also
updates the tooltip title to indicate that it's not that the relay is bad in
essence, just that it's running old software and needs to be updated, and
the "not-recommended-ness" of the relay is transient in nature, not a
permanent issue.
Of course, there may be other opinions.
