To reply to myself (again):

I've optimized the code even further, here's what I've so far:

there is a very basic and quick guide about how to install the full
application (let me know if I missed something or if you need more details).

I've also uploaded the new API benchmark results:
http://138.201.90.124/new_tests.zip

As you can use, I was able to serve more requests (double the number)
and halve the response time.

New and further improvements will be done in the next days.
