 See also some related thoughts on handling I/O exceptions in
 [https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/16225#comment:8 this
 ticket].

 Also note that `DescriptorParser#parseDescriptors()` needs to be changed,
 too, and return `Iterator<Descriptor>` rather than `List<Descriptor>`.
 There may be even more.
